One of the basic things to do with your iPhone to save your battery life is to lock your iPhone by tapping Sleep/Wake button. However, there may be times when you might forget to put your iPhone into sleep mode. In such situations it would be pretty handing, if your iPhone could automatically be autolocked. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to Settings > General > Auto Lock.
- Reduce the timer of Auto Lock to any suitable time.
Most people use 2 minutes for auto lock timer. Having a small time out for autolock would ensure that the iPhone would soon be put into sleep mode. However, this might trouble you too. As a very small time out could frequently put your iPhone into sleep mode, even while you might not want it to do so.
