How to Open Camera App from iPhone Lock Screen in iOS 5:
- Tap Home Button twice while your iPhone is locked.
- A new Camera button would appear on the right side of Unlock Slide bar.
- Tap on the Camera Icon for instantly accessing the Camera.
Additionally, the volume buttons can be used to zoom in and out of the camera app. The volume buttons can be used to zoom in and out in both video and image capturing modes.
This distinctive feature was not available in the predecessors of iOS 5 because Apple did not provide high quality camera modules. Since previous Appleās release of iPhone 4 primarily focused on enhancing the camera up-to 5 mega pixels. Most recently Apple introduced 8 mega pixel camera in iPhone 4S with LED flash offering to capture high quality images and video recordings any where and even during the night.

Recent application integrity and development showed that camera app can also be accessed by the user by using headphone and user can snap photos as well.
